The world’s no-1 all-rounder in all formats of International cricket, Shakib Al Hasan, has expressed one of his major cricket dream he wants to achieve is to win the World Cup trophy for his country.
He came up with the disclosure while giving an interview to cricket based online portal Cricbuzz.
In that interview, Sri Lanka’s World Cup winning captain Arjuna Ranatunga had mentioned about how Bangladesh could win the 2023 World Cup, Shakib said, “Preparations are going on nice and I think we have a very good chance in 2019 World Cup too. The way we are progressing, we will be a very competitive side in the upcoming WC too.”
Shakib was also asked about his one major cricket regret, and he came out with this saying: “Ahh! There are actually two.
2012 Asia Cup Final where we lost to Pakistan by two runs. And the T20 World Cup game against India.”
