Government Titumir College student Siddiqur Rahman, whose eyes were grievously inured in police action during a demonstration at Shahbagh in Dhaka on July 20, returned home from India on Friday.
After arrival from India he said, I want to survive with dignity.
A group of protesters were demonstrating with black cloth tied on their eyes before Siddiqur’s flight landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 3:00pm.
He had been flown to India for better treatment on July 27 to be treated at Sankara Nethralaya Hospital in Chennai.
