�Suranjit used to raise voice for people�

Staff Correspondent:BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia today said in a press briefing, Veteran parliamentarian Suranjit Sengupta used to raise his voice always in favour of the country and her people.

Expressing deep shock at his death, the former premier observed this in a statement issued on Sunday evening.

�Sengupta as a seasoned politician raised his voice always in favour of the country and its people,� the former premier said.

She added that the nation will remember his role as an organizer of the liberation war, as a politician and as a member of the constitution formulation committee.
