Zakir Hossain alias Kala Zakir (35), a drug dealer, was killed in 'gunfight' with police in Comilla. Zakir hossain son of the Sultan Ahmad, who leave in Sasongasa Area.
This incident happened on Thursday (May 23th) at 2pm. Kotwali Model Police Station OC Mohammad Abu Salam Mia confirmed the matter.
Police says about the arrest, around 2pm conducted an operation in Gumti dam adjacent to Palpara Bridge of Sadar upazila. Due to police presence, drug businessman Kali Zakir and his associates opened fire on police. During this time, police also fired counter to self defense. The drug addict Zakir was shot and taken to Comilla Medical College Hospital.
Tweleve hundread yaba, one pices lg gun and two round bullet recovered from the spot. The drug dealer have at least half dozens cases.
