Tigers starts campaign with a comfortable win

Sports Desk:Tigers started their Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2017 campaign with a comfortable 8 wickets win over Hong Kong in the opening match at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Cox's Bazar today.

After winning the toss, Hong Kong scored 125 in 35.1 overs for 10 wickets. Babar Hayat scored 37 runs which is the highest score for the tourists.

Bangladesh captain Mominul Haque captured 3-11 and his deputy Nasir Hossain 3-18.

Tigers required only 16.1 overs to reach their target of 126 runs.

Saif’s unbeaten knock of 57 and Nazmul’s 24 helped the hosts win with eight wickets to spare.
