Narsingdi Correspondent:A madrasa teacher Atiqur Rahman who was hacked by his younger brother, has been rushed to a local hospital in Sadar upazila of Narsingdi for his treatment on Wednesday.
A man named Rubel strangled his three minor siblings and hacked his elder brother in Narsingdi Sadar upazila last night.
The deceased are Yeasin, 12, Mariam, 6, and Marzia, 3, our district correspondent reports quoting Md Salauddin, officer-in-charge (OC) (investigation) of Narsingdi Model Police Station.
After switching off the power supply, Rubel, 23, entered into the room of their house at Alukbali village where three of his siblings were sleeping and strangulated them to death, police said.
The killer also hacked his brother Atiqur Rahman, 25, a madrasa teacher.
Rubel went to his brother Rahman, who is a teacher of Darulsunnat Islamia Madrasa, saying that their mother was sick.
As soon as they reached in front of the nearby mosque at the village, Rubel hacked him, police said.
Hearing Rahmans scream, locals caught Rubel around 10:00pm yesterday and handed him over to police, the OC said.
Police rescued the bodies.
Locals said quoting Rubel that he would kill all except father.
We are investigating the incident, said the OC.
