The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus) has once again set new gold prices after two consecutive reductions in the local market.
In a notification issued on Saturday (June 20) morning, the organization announced that the price of 22-carat gold has been reduced by BDT 2,216 per bhori (approx. 11.664 grams), setting the new price at BDT 226,340 per bhori, including VAT. This new price became effective from 10:00 AM.
Bajus further stated that the price of acid gold (pure gold) has decreased in the local market. Therefore, considering the overall market situation, gold prices have been re-adjusted.
