Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesperson for Iran’s armed forces, warned that any power that takes a stand against Iran is bound to fail. He claimed that the United States’ prolonged political and military efforts to break Iran’s morale have been unsuccessful. Instead, these actions have led the US itself into internal crises and strategic pressure.
These statements were highlighted in a report by Iran’s Mehr News Agency on Sunday (November 8).
Abolfazl Shekarchi stated that the political and electoral setbacks faced by the Trump administration and its allies are not merely a reflection of internal political changes. They reveal a larger reality: the US’s failure to break Iran’s morale.
He asserted that US policies of aggression, assassination, and maximum pressure, along with its military strategies, have failed against Iran’s resistance capabilities. He further claimed that these efforts were unsuccessful due to the unwavering resolve of the country’s leadership, people, and armed forces.
Shekarchi added that any power that takes a stand against Iran, a nation with firm, steadfast, and iron-willed morale, will face downfall and isolation in the eyes of global public opinion.
Referring to the US’s hostility towards Iran, particularly its alleged repeated defeats in West Asia, the tarnishing of its military prestige, and its failure to implement threats, he stated that these incidents have shaken the foundations of power in the White House.
Criticizing Trump and his allies, Shekarchi said, “Trump and his reckless, extremist, and terrorist-minded allies set out to destroy a proud ancient nation. But the situation has turned around. Instead, they themselves have fallen victim to strategic erosion, deep internal crises, and defeat at the hands of Iran’s armed forces and the resistance front.”
He further stated that any power confronting Iran’s immense strength and unwavering resolve will ultimately face downfall and lose credibility in the eyes of the world.
The spokesperson for Iran’s armed forces claimed that this strategic defeat proves that the balance of global power is not always in favor of hegemonic forces.
