On Monday (January 5) in the capital’s Mohammadpur, the process of exhuming and identifying the bodies of the unidentified martyrs of the July uprising is underway in the cemetery adjacent to the Rayerbazar Martyrs Intellectual Memorial. 8 people have been identified so far.
The deceased are- Shaheed Faisal Sarkar, Shaheed Parvez Bepari, Shaheed Rafiqul Islam (52), Shaheed Mahim, Shaheed Sohail Rana, Shaheed Asanullah, Kabil Hossain, Rafiqul Islam (29). Advisor to the Ministry Adilur Rahman Khan, Special Assistant Professor of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Saidur Rahman and CID chief. Chhibgat Ullah and members of the martyr’s family.
Exhumation and identification of the bodies started from Sunday (December 7).
