After a long 10-year relationship and married life, Pritam and Shahtaj have decided to separate. They have reached the decision to end their marital relationship through mutual understanding. The couple announced their decision in a statement released on social media.
In the statement, they said, “Shahtaj and I have decided to end our marital relationship after a decade-long journey together, through mutual understanding.”
They both expressed gratitude for the time, memories, and experiences shared together. They also stated that mutual respect and well wishes for each other will always remain. Their statement reads, “Over time, they have come to realize that due to significant differences in mutual understanding, it would be better for both to pursue separate paths.”
The statement further noted, “This decision was not made suddenly. They reached the decision to divorce after much thought, internal discussions, and with the support and consent of their families.” Currently undergoing the divorce process, Pritam and Shahtaj wish to move forward separately into new chapters of their lives.
During this period of change, they have sincerely requested friends, colleagues, and the media to respect their personal space, privacy, and feelings. They expressed hope that the matter would be considered with respect and empathy for both of them.
