Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has extended heartfelt congratulations and greetings to devout Muslims of all levels in Bangladesh and the entire Muslim Ummah worldwide on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH). He stated, ‘The life and ideals of the Great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) can be a unique source of inspiration for the country’s youth.’
The Prime Minister made this statement in a message issued today, Tuesday, on the occasion of holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH). He said, ‘By following the life ideals of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), it is possible to build a peaceful and welfare-oriented society through the establishment of justice, responsibility, and human values in individual, family, social, and state life.’
In the message, the Prime Minister stated, ‘The auspicious advent of the Great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is a unique and glorious event in the history of human civilization. His appearance opened a new horizon of truth and light for humanity.’
He called people towards Tawhid (Oneness of God) and also taught truth, justice, equality, brotherhood, humanity, and peace. His sacred life and deeds remain an eternal guide and an exemplary ideal for all mankind.’
He added, ‘I express boundless gratitude to Almighty Allah, Lord of the Worlds, who sent the Last Prophet and Messenger, Rahmatullil Alamin (Mercy for all worlds), Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), to earth for the guidance and welfare of humanity. May countless salutations and blessings be upon him.’
The message stated that Almighty Allah has declared in the Holy Quran, ‘Indeed in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example.’ (Surah Al-Ahzab, Ayah: 21). The life of the Great Prophet (PBUH) was a practical and living reflection of the teachings of the Holy Quran. He set unique examples of truthfulness, trustworthiness, justice, forgiveness, tolerance, compassion, and altruism. In his way of life, we find not only the lesson of deep devotion to Allah but also the extraordinary manifestation of love for humanity, responsibility, and magnanimity.
The Great Prophet (PBUH) emphasized the establishment of human dignity and rights, transcending divisions of race, color, lineage, language, and social status. He taught responsibility and empathy towards orphans, the poor, the helpless, and the deprived. He placed special importance on protecting the rights of family members, neighbors, women, children, and the weak and marginalized people of society. His teachings do not create division among people, but rather strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, harmony, and mutual responsibility.
The Prime Minister stated, ‘The current world is passing through various crises and challenges. War, conflict, hatred, discrimination, intolerance, and moral degradation are disrupting people’s peace, security, and normal life. At such a time, the teachings of peace, justice, empathy, forgiveness, and humanity of the Great Prophet (PBUH) are highly relevant. By following his life ideals, it is possible to build a peaceful and welfare-oriented society through the establishment of justice, responsibility, and human values in individual, family, social, and state life.’
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman said, ‘Our younger generation is the future of the country. To keep them away from drugs, terrorism, extremism, and crime, and to build them with the spirit of knowledge, creativity, morality, humanity, and patriotism, the life and ideals of the Great Prophet (PBUH) can be a unique source of inspiration. His ideals can inspire the youth to remain steadfast on the path of truth and justice, to be respectful towards others, and to play a responsible role towards society and the country.’
The message further stated, ‘The teachings of the Great Prophet (PBUH) are not only for the religious and spiritual lives of Muslims but also bear deep significance for the development of human and moral values. His ideals must be embraced in our personal lives, family lives, and social conduct. By strengthening mutual respect, empathy, tolerance, and a sense of justice, we can build a peaceful, just, and humane Bangladesh.’
May Almighty Allah grant us the ability to follow the glorious life ideals and Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). May his teachings and ideals further strengthen the spirit of truth, justice, equality, brotherhood, and humanity in our personal and social lives. May peace, justice, equality, prosperity, and humanity be established in Bangladesh and throughout the world—this is my heartfelt prayer on this blessed day.’
