Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Sani has expressed deep condolences to Bangladesh on the death of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
President Md. In a condolence message sent to Sahabuddin, the Emir of Qatar expressed his deepest condolences on the death of Bangladesh’s first woman Prime Minister Khaleda Zia. At the same time, he expressed sincere condolences to the bereaved family.
Earlier, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud expressed their deep sorrow and condolences over Khaleda Zia’s death.
In a message sent to the President, the King said, We have received the news of the death of former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia with deep sorrow. We express our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to you and the bereaved family at this bereaved time. We pray to Almighty Allah to shower Khaleda Zia with infinite mercy and forgiveness, give her the highest place in Paradise and protect you all from all kinds of harm. Verily we belong to Allah and verily to Him we are the returnees.
