Beyond cinema, Shah Rukh Khan’s influence in cricket is noteworthy. His team, Kolkata Knight Riders, is widely recognized for its success in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Additionally, he owns teams in the Caribbean Premier League, Women’s Caribbean Premier League, International League T20, and Major League Cricket.

Among these, Major League Cricket (MLC) is held in the USA, where Shah Rukh Khan’s team is named ‘Los Angeles Knight Riders’. He has now launched a stadium in Los Angeles for this team, which is being considered a significant milestone in the global cricket arena.

Named ‘Knight Riders Cricket Ground’, this stadium is located at the Fairplex Complex in Pomona, California. It will serve as the team’s home ground. Shah Rukh Khan announced this good news yesterday in a video message, describing it as a dream-come-true moment for him as well.

He stated, ‘It started as a dream, and today it has become a reality. Welcome everyone to our Knight Riders Cricket Ground. It will not only be a place for sports but also for entertainment and family time.’

It is known that Shah Rukh Khan’s organization is responsible for the stadium’s operation. However, the land and infrastructure are owned by Fairplex (Los Angeles County Fair Association). The Knight Riders Group, which includes Shah Rukh Khan along with actress Juhi Chawla and industrialist Jay Mehta as partners, has entered into a long-term agreement with them.

For many years, the Knight Riders Group has been expanding its presence in international cricket. Through this stadium, the group seems to have signaled an even more dominant existence.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy with his new film ‘King’. This star-studded movie, directed by Siddharth Anand, is set to be released on December 24.
